PNS Syrup rapidly extinguishes 28 and 50 square food gasoline fires

Testing at our facilities has established the excellent fire performance of PNS.  We can reliably extinguish a 28ft2 gasoline fire in less than 10 seconds and we have extinguished a 50ft2 gasoline fire in our only two tests in less than 20 seconds each.  Current MILSPEC guidelines require that the fire be extinguished in less than 30 and 60 seconds, respectively.  We are well within this time requirement.  We are also able to meet the application rate guidelines.  MILSPEC calls for an application rate of less than 2GPM; our application rate was 1.6GPM.  The photo above is from our 50 sq ft gasoline test. The full video can be found here.

PNS is a fire extinguishing agent that is self-intumescent and forms a light-weight foamy char which stops the chain reaction of free radicals and ions in a flame and associated heat release.  PNS Syrup sprayed as a mist is an effective fire extinguishing agent for fuel fires but does not have burnback capability.
